1) Important safety instructions
getquin does not have access to your assets.
The platform connects to your broker or bank accounts in a read-only manner so that positions can be viewed and analyzed.
Since access is read-only, getquin cannot place orders, transfer money, initiate withdrawals, or otherwise act on your accounts.
Likewise, you cannot trade via getquin; all trades must be executed directly with your broker/bank.
2) Official domains (check before logging in)
Always check the address bar first. Our official website is https://getquin.com and our web platform is https://app.getquin.com. Language-specific content may appear as a path on the main website (e.g., https://getquin.com/de). Our official domains are:
https://getquin.com β official website (marketing and help content)
https://app.getquin.com β official web platform (register here)
https://getquin.com/de β Example of a language-specific path
When logging in, navigate to app.getquin.com, ideally by entering the address or using a saved bookmark, rather than following links from advertisements or messages.
Before entering your login details, check that the connection is secure (the padlock symbol and a valid certificate for getquin.com or app.getquin.com) and ensure that the spelling is correct.
Be cautious of similar or fake domains, unusual endings, or subtle character substitutions. Examples of fake domains include:
Fraudulent sites often use urgency and pressure, pop-ups, countdowns, warnings such as "Act now," or they ask for passwords, PINs, seed phrases, remote access, or "verification" payments.
Reputable websites ensure consistent design, spelling, and navigation.
If something seems strange, cancel the process, close the tab, and go directly to getquin.com or app.getquin.com.
Are you installing the app? Please only use the Apple App Store or Google Play to do so.
The official entry is "getquin β Portfolio Tracker" by QUIN Technologies GmbH.

3) How getquin contacts you
Our primary communication channels are in-app notifications and emails from official getquin sender domains. We will never ask you to transfer money or cryptocurrencies, and we will never request remote access via message. If something seems suspicious, pause and contact us via the verified channels on this page.
Email communication (what to expect and how to check this)
You may receive general newsletters and product updates, as well as support responses when you open a ticket. Although the name displayed may vary, please verify the actual sender domain and the destination of all links before taking any action.
Official email addresses from getquin: [email protected] (the "xxx" part may change)
Official newsletter by email: [email protected]
Example of an official support email (via Intercom): [email protected] (the "xxx" part may change)
Rule of thumb: Official getquin mailboxes end with @getquin.com (for newsletters and company emails) or @getquin.intercom-mail.com (for support responses forwarded via our helpdesk system).
Move your mouse pointer over links before clicking on them. They should point to getquin.com or app.getquin.com.
Be careful with attachments. If in doubt, do not open them. Instead, access the content via the app or enter getquin.com or app.getquin.com manually in your browser.
We will never contact you via text message and never call you.
We do not send registration links, password resets, payment requests, or "verification instructions" via SMS, WhatsApp, Instagram, or other social media.
Treat such messages as suspicious and report them.
We never call to ask for payments or access data. We do not ask you for your password, 2FA codes, or to install remote control software over the phone. If someone calls claiming to be getquin, hang up and contact us via the verified channels listed on this page.
4) File links & attachments
Sometimes our emails or in-app messages contain links to documents that provide additional information.
Treat these links as you would our websites:
Check the sender and destination before opening anything.
Our file links should be resolved under our official domains.
Example: If "Terms and Conditions" is highlighted in an email, the link should lead to a document hosted on our official domains, for example to a URL that begins with https://getquin.com/... or https://app.getquin.com/... (you can preview the destination by hovering your mouse over it before clicking). Do not open any files or links before checking the sender's address (e.g., an official @getquin.com mailbox) and the domain in the link preview.
We will not ask you to download "security tools," browser extensions, or screen sharing apps.
If you were not expecting the file or the request seems unusual, manually access the relevant content at getquin.com or app.getquin.com instead of clicking on the link.
5) Financial advice from getquin
Financial advice at getquin is voluntary and always initiated by you. If you wish, one of our financial advisors will first speak with you personally to understand your situation and your questions. Only after this conversation will you receive written advice by email from an official getquin mailbox (e.g., [email protected]).
Our advice is limited to ETFs; we do not advise on cryptocurrencies or other securities such as bonds, stocks, or commodities such as gold.
We do not manage assets on your behalf or execute trades for you. Trading remains with your broker/bank. This ensures a clear separation between the display of your portfolio in getquin and any execution activities you carry out elsewhere.
6) How to spot scammers
If something seems strange, pause and check it via our official channels. Common warning signs include:
Unknown domains, payment requests, or demands for urgent action.
Requests for your password, 2FA codes, PIN, or remote access.
Also keep an eye on the known fraud methods.
7) Additional security features you can activate
You should never share your password.
It is recommended that you change your passwords every three months.
Biometric unlocking on your device (Face ID/fingerprint) to protect your device and your app.
Strong, unique password stored in a reputable password manager.
Current operating system, browser, and mobile app.
Do not forward emails from getquin to others, as these emails may contain sensitive account information.
Screen lock and screenshot deactivation on sensitive screens, if your device allows it.
8) What should you do if you have already clicked or shared information?
Change your password immediately (and any passwords you use for other services). Increase the security of your device (enable biometric features and a strong screen lock), update your operating system and browser, and run a reputable malware scan. Then contact us via the verified channels listed below so that we can help you evaluate the next steps and stop any communication with the scammer.
