You want to connect to Trading212 and are wondering how this works?
Then read on!
1. The connection to Trading212 requires the creation of an API key and API secret via which the data can be queried.
2. log in to Trading212 on the web and go to "Settings".
3. then go to "API (BETA)
4. now click on "Generate API Key
5. you can give this API key a unique name in the next window and set the rights to "Account data", "History orders" and "Portfolio".
6. now click on "Generate Key" again.
7. in the next menu you will see the api key and the API secret key. You can copy it.
8. in your getquin account, select Trading212 when importing a new portfolio, enter the API key and and secret key, to start the connection process. (You need at least App Version 2.196.1 to enter API Key and API Secret Key for the import. Older app versions are only supporting the API Key.)
