By default, real-time data for securities is retrieved from the German Lang & Schwarz Exchange (L&S Exchange) or the Stuttgart Stock Exchange, and all other time periods are automatically retrieved from the respective home exchange, if possible, and converted into your default currency.

Therefore, there may be a slight difference between the data provided by your broker and our data if your broker uses a different exchange or currency conversion.

Contributing factors

Several factors contribute to differences in how data is displayed on different platforms:

  1. Spreads: Different purchase and sale prices on different exchanges can influence calculations.

  2. Currency conversion: Fluctuations in exchange rates and different conversion methods can lead to discrepancies.

  3. Rounding differences: Inconsistencies in rounding algorithms can lead to minor deviations.

  4. Data delays: Different update frequencies and delays in the data sources can result in inconsistencies.

Therefore, there may be a slight difference compared to the data provided by your broker if they use a different exchange rate or currency conversion.

Typical scenarios include discrepancies with broker data due to different sources or calculation methods and exaggerated differences in intraday fluctuations caused by real-time market movements.

Please note that, depending on the data source, we display either the average bid and ask price (L&S Exchange) or the last reported price (Stuttgart Stock Exchange) for the exchange rates.
