ISIN Change

One of your stocks or one of your ETFs has got a new ISIN and you want to display this in your portfolio?

Then you are right here.

First the most important info at the beginning:
At getquin this change does not happen automatically and you have to adjust the position on your own.

However, this is easier than you think!

(The following manuals apply only, if you are not using an automatic broker connection! For connected accounts the change will be done by your broker and transmitted to us!)

Again, depending on whether you use getquin on the smartphone or the browser, there are different ways:

in the App:

  1. Go to the transaction list at the bottom of your portfolio

  2. Now search for the corresponding company in the search bar

  3. Now swipe an associated buy and sell transaction to the left

  4. in the following menu enter the new ISIN in the name line

  5. Now save the adjusted transaction.

  6. Repeat this for all purchases/sales of this company.

Important: Usually we receive the data of the new ISIN about 48h after the start of trading. Before that, the new ISIN may not be recognized.

Dividends do not need to be adjusted.

In browser

  1. Go to the transaction list at the bottom of your portfolio

  2. Now search for the corresponding company in the search bar

  3. Now go to the "Edit" option next to the transaction

  4. in the following menu enter the new ISIN in the name line

  5. Now save the adjusted transaction.

  6. Repeat this for all purchases/sales of this company.

Important: We usually receive the data of the new ISIN about 48h after the start of trading. Before that, the new ISIN may not be recognized.

Dividends do not need to be adjusted.
