With the release of Version 2.202.0 we are able to launch our new AI based import as public beta.
Please note that despite installing version 2.202.0, the feature is being rolled out in waves and is therefore not immediately available to everyone.
This feature is only available in our web app.
AI-based document import allows you to automatically transfer transactions and items from PDF or CSV files into getquin.
This allows you to import securities holdings and securities purchases quickly and reliably, without manual entry.
What is being imported?
The import focuses on transactions and positions:
1. transactions
Purchases and sales of securities (date, ISIN, number, price)
Fees, commissions, and transaction costs, as indicated in the document
Currency details for transactions
2. Positionen
Current portfolio holdings (ISIN, name, number of shares, average price, booking date)
The data is assigned primarily via the ISIN. Missing ISINs can lead to incomplete or incorrect imports.
What is not imported?
The following items are not imported automatically:
Pure money movements (deposits, withdrawals, interest, internal transfers)
Note: Dividends are created by the system automatically as gross payments and do not need to be imported. Please note that historical transactions must not be adjusted for the split, as we perform the split automatically.
Supported document types
PDF (e.g., order confirmations, account and securities account statements)
CSV/Excel exports from brokers or banks (with mapping function)
Note: Recognition quality depends heavily on the legibility and structure of the document.

FAQ
What are the usage restrictions for AI imports?
To remain fair while taking into account the varying degrees of difficulty in recognizing documents, the use of AI import is not limited to a fixed number of transactions.
Instead, we work with a token system in which the consumption of tokens depends on how complex or difficult to read a document is.
A well-structured CSV export can use fewer tokens than a confusing PDF with multiple transaction types.
The available token quotas vary depending on the token type:
Free users: 10,000 tokens (enough for up to approx. 3,000 transactions)
Premium subscribers: 30,000 tokens (enough for up to approx. 9,000 transactions)
Wealth subscribers: 50,000 tokens (enough for up to approximately 15,000 transactions)
Once the token limit has been reached, the import function cannot be used again until the next billing period.
Do the tokens reset automatically?
Yes, the tokens for AI import are reset automatically on the first day of each new month. So you don't need to reset or request anything manually—your quota will be fully available again at the beginning of each month.
