A pioneer in online banking with a wide range of products.

Comdirect has been around since 1994, is one of the oldest online brokers and was Germany's third-largest direct bank until 2020.

In the meantime, Comdirect has become part of Commerzbank.

The broker offers an "all-round" range of banking products and covers a wide selection of securities as well as trading on all German stock exchanges and 12 foreign exchanges.

Here you can execute trades and savings plans, although one should keep an eye on the costs. Certain ETF and fund savings plans are free of charge, but for many other products there are comparatively high order costs (especially for higher order volumes).

However, there are always attractive conditions for new customers and in general, the very good reputation, the established customer service and some awards for "Online Broker of the Year" speak for the broker.

Connection via Open Banking

You can link your Comdirect account to getquin via Open Banking Connection. To do this, select Comdirect as broker in the new portfolio creation, go to "Automatic connection" and enter your access data.

Manual Import

If you don't want to use any of these import options, you can still create your transactions manually.
