Cash position can no longer be created in the portfolio as of version 2.242.0

Starting with app version 2.242.0, you can no longer add cash as a position in your portfolio. Instead, cash is now only recorded as a cash account in the asset overview.

Starting with app version 2.242.0, it is no longer possible to create a cash position or cash transactions directly in a portfolio on smartphones.
This is also affecting our webapp import.

Instead, you can now only add cash as a "Cash Account" in the Net Worth Overview.

Background:
Until now, there have been two ways to record cash in getquin. We are consolidating these methods to make the process easier to use.

It will still be possible to enter interest manually and include it in these taxes.

What happens to existing cash positions in the portfolio?
As soon as the new import feature is available on the web, existing cash positions in portfolios will be automatically migrated to the Cash Overview in the Asset Overview. So all you need is a little patience.

If you don't want to wait, follow these steps:

  1. Delete the existing cash position in the portfolio

  2. Then manually recreate it as a cash account in the balance sheet

You can find instructions on how to delete a cash position from your portfolio here.

Automatic connections are not affected by this change.
